LinuxMINT is the real deal, period.

I told you before about LinuxMint, the latest OS I've been playing with, it's a downstream version of ubuntu, and it is damn beautiful, and the most functional OS I have installed to this moment of time ... everything just works out of the box, I have not faced any problems since I installed it, I only still have windows to use a program called "ABC amber book converter" to convert my books from .lit to other formats so that I can read them on my PDA on iSilo ... but I haven't tried running that program in WINE (a program that lets you run windows programs on linux ;) ...) yet, and if it works, I won't have an excuse to remove windows once and for all off my system! there's a video above for you to check out my installation of LinuxMint, note that my laptop is an old slow one (1.5 GHz centrino - 512 MBRAM - 128 intel graphics accelerator) that's why the video is a bit buggy.
